Moms birthday card

This card was made for two challenges, Mojo Monday and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  The funny thing about that is when I was working on the card the ideals just seemed to all kind of flow and come together and it wasn’t till I was done and actually took a look at the finished product that I realized what I had done.  This seems to keep happening with the cards I make, and I think that might be one of the reasons I see the value of therapy in this pursuit.  You see when I am in the midst of making a card I am just looking at weather this bit of paper goes with that bit of paper, and what stamp fits into this design, or if this challenge can be interpreted this way or that.  This time when I took a good look at my finished card I started crying.  This would have been the card I would have made for my mother in laws birthday.  Which would have been April 1st if we hadn’t lost her several years ago to cancer.  I definitely didn’t start out to make this card, but I am so glad that I made it, she would have loved my cards most of all.  I miss her so very much every single day.  She was the most amazing woman ever, and truly one of the best people to have ever been in my life.  This card is for her.  I made this card using this sketch:
