I loved this ribbon so much when I saw it years ago that I bought several rolls.  I still love it so much that I only use it sparingly,  Then awhile ago an absolute angel of a friend gifted me with scrapbook paper when I started making cards. I have been extremely blessed to be gifted with some things that have helped me on my card making journey and I am always so giddy when it happens!  I am always torn between wanting to make sure to use and enjoy the items and to make sure that they only get used sparingly so that they last as long as possible.  In with the paper was a piece that matched my ribbon, only in reverse.  This was the perfect card to use just a little of each and let them really shine!  Now I just have to find the right time to use the card….  I made this card to submit to the Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge Let’s do the Polka challenge, and the Freshly Made Sketch 232 challenge using this sketch:

  1. Susan Beckman

Cute, clean and fresh for sure.. Love the colors, blue and brown make a nice combo.

  2. Dodie

Loved the suspense that you instilled in your description of the ribbon and paper. I wasn’t disappointed, either! Such an adorable combination, and the card is lovely.
