Let’s go fly a kite

When I finished this card I wished I had made more so I could send them to my nieces and nephews.  What a great kid card!  Ok, I know they aren’t all technically in that category anymore, the oldest is 15, but to me they will always be my kids… and the youngest is still in diapers.  I am sure they will get one soon, they are my favorite card recipients.  I don’t normally post a picture on this on here, but when I either use a card or put it  on Etsy I add a lined envelope that I make when I make the card, I just thought this one was so perfect for the sentiment of the card I wanted to post the picture here as well.  This one I double embossed again.  I used powder on the kite, and I think I am getting better at it.  I think one of the things is I need to try something other that black powder if I am going to want cleaner looking results.  The was for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge EMBOSS IT, and also for the Tuesday Morning Sketches #351 Challenge using this sketch:

Wonderful! Makes me think of the ending scene in Mary Poppins where Everyone is flying a kite. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I’m so glad you shared your envelope along with your card Gindapooh, I just love the set. I bet your nieces and nephews are going to be “kids” to you no matter how old they are, lol.
