I used this challenge as an excuse to make my kids some cards.  I said they would get some soon 😉 .  My hope is that they know that there is someone out there that loves them simple because they are them.  I think that is the reason that I wanted to make them cards in the first place.  When I think about them (which I do pretty much all the time)  I wanted a way to let them know.  With a card it gives them something that they can hold, and look at again later if they are feeling down.  It also is fun to get something in the mail.  I like sending them the same one most of the time because I feel it connects them in some strange way.  When I was in college I had a very good friend who would send me cards and it meant the world to me.  I want to pass that on as well for when my kids leave home.  I am just starting to practice now!  This card will be entered in to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Flowers and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge EMBOSS IT.  It was actually made for Freshly Made Sketches #236 – A Sketch by Rita using this sketch:
