Childhood magic

This card makes me swoon!  Can your own work do that?  Well, this one does.  It reminds me of being a kid collecting fireflies in the summertime.  There was just something magical about that.  It’s something I would love to share with my nieces  and nephews so very much, heck its something I would like to share with my husband.  I miss fireflies so very much!  We just don’t have them out here on the west coast.  I love where I live but there are a million little things I miss about home, I know my husband points out I have lived here longer than I did there but I still think where you spend your childhood in some ways will always be home in a way.  I made this card using designs from  I am submitting it to both ADFD Challenge #148 ADD VELLUM! and Sketch Saturday Challenge #413, using this sketch:

I seem to be having an issue leaving comments – not sure what is going on. But wanted to thank you for your entry with us at A Day For Daisies for our Add Vellum challenge this week. I love your marble paper. Good Luck.
