I am going to start doing a new type of post on here that I hope is helpful. When I first started out I was trying to figure out what tools I needed in order to make cards the best I could, and the big answer is it all depends. Feh! Well, that’s true, it depends on what kind of cards you want to make and what kind of budget you have and … Well, then where do you start? I am going to make a point of every two weeks talk about a tool I can’t live with out or one that I am currently loving. Maybe it will help you figure out what is worth it and what isn’t.
This week I am going to talk about an item that I find myself grabbing all of the time. My Tim Holtz Craft Pick. I use this thing all of the time. I thought at first that it was kind of a silly thing to invest in because I don’t a lot of paper piercing. I do however use it to clear out my die cuts. I also grab it to open packages that have shrink wrap on them all of the time. One of the best things is I have used it when doing some hand sewing as well making it definitely not an uni-tasker. I also love the fact that it is easy to see and doesn’t tend to get lost on my desk or in my utensil cup. It’s been a very useful tool that I highly recommend.
