Paper trimmers

I first started making cards from kits and had no idea what I was doing, with that it took me a while to realize that I really needed a paper trimmer.  My first trimmer was the most basic one that I could find at Michael’s, it lasted me a couple of months before I realized it just wasn’t going to do what I needed when I started trying to make Christmas cards.  That is when I purchased my Fiskars SureCut Deluxe Craft Paper Trimmer, which I love and still use on a regular basis except for one small thing.  I find it gets really inaccurate on cuts over 3 inches.  For me, that was a problem because I like to cut my own cards out of cardstock I also pre-cut my cardstock into 4 x 5.5 pieces so they are ready to go.  I needed a better trimmer for handling larger cut jobs and spent a long time looking.  I decided on the CARL Professional Rotary Paper Trimmer, which I adore.  There is one small problem though and it is the reason that I still have the Fiskars as well, it is no good at anything under about 2 inches.  Honestly, having two trimmers that do a great job at what they do instead of having one trimmer that does an Ok job of most things is perfect for me.  Especially saying I still haven’t gotten into the other things that I utilize to cut paper on a regular basis…
