First coffee

I love this card!  I keep imagining a quaint little coffee shop with this being the scene outside in the morning.  What a great place to visit, especially if it were your birthday!  I have to admit that I borrowed a technique for the balloons from a recent blog hop and I can’t remember who to credit with the amazing idea, but they are just cut out of card stock and then covered in Ranger Glossy Accents which gives them that balloon-like quality.  I used DMC Diamant Metallic Needlework Thread for my strings.  The kitty is My Favorite Things Cool Cat, and I painted him with a mix of Tim Holtz Distress Pumice Stone, and Hickory Smoke.  I am submitting this card to SUNDAY SIP AND SHARE…BIRTHDAY TREATS!.
