Someone has been wanting me to make this card for awhile now (since I started making cards really) and things finally all came together for me to make it.  Sometimes being able to make a specific card just needs all of the pieces to come together.  The design on this card comes from the Fathers Day Collection from DigiStamp Boutique.  I started by cutting out my ‘tools’ from Cricut Access and then assembled them using Multi Medium – Matte, I then turned them into stickers to affix to my card using my Xyron Create-A-Sticker.  I then water colored my main image using the colors listed below in my tools I used section.  In order to get the metal color, I mixed the Pumice Stone with Picket Fence.  I then affixed everything to the front of my card.  I am submitting this card to Tuesday Morning Sketches #406, and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Masculine, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Make It Masculine.

This is the sketch I used on this project:

These are the tools I used on this project:

What a wonderfully clever card! I’m sure it exceeds expectations– even if the wait for it was long! I really like how you created a scene with the tools and even included a few nails scattered around the bottom of the toolbox. The wood that you incorporated is also genius! It did indeed come together beautifully and I’m so glad you shared your talents with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
