Don’t let it melt

It all of a sudden dawned on me after I chose to make an ice cream card that I had the perfect paper to go with it, and it really does go with the sentiment on the card! I think this is one of those times that my random paper purchases turn out to work so well. The image and sentiment on this card are from Ice Cream Lineup from From the heart stamps. I need to go back and fix the image in my library because I just realized that it wasn’t cropped correctly, sometimes that happens with the Cricut design space and I have to use another program to cut the images so they are correct. I started by printing and cutting my images. I then watercolored my ice cream, the bowl is Tumbled Glass, the ice cream is Spun Sugar (in my head it is peppermint flavor, although it could be strawberry or cherry or bubblegum), the bit of cone on top is Antique Linen. I added a bit of glitter to the cone thinking it would make it look a bit like sugar, but I am not sure it really does, well a bit of glitter is still a good thing. I finished by affixing everything to my card front. I am submitting this card to Tuesday Throwdown #346 Sugar High and to Sunday Stamps SSC154 SKETCHY CURVES (a new to me challenge!).
