A flurry of cards!  One card led to the idea for another card then an inspiration picture reminded me of a past card which all lead to a day of making a flurry of cards, well in actuality I made six cards, but it still took all day and that is how it all started. I am going to post this as two different (but fairly identicalI) posts since I made two stylistically different cards that are identical in the method I used. I utilized Whatever the weather dies from SugarPea Designs to cut out my umbrellas from my different papers.  I spent the day running everything trough my Cuttlebug, wich always feels a bit like making pasta to me, to cut out my umbrellas and clouds.  I then affixed them to the front of my cards (this is when I realized that I should have stamped my sentiment first), after they were in place I stamped my sentiment using Whatever the weather stamps and finished by stamping my hearts in worn lipstick.  Using the Distress Oxide for the hearts on the variety of different paper colors made it really obvious one of the reasons that the oxides are so different and fun to work with.  I am submitting this card to Inspired By All the Little Things #62 with Amy Kolling and to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Use Patterned Paper.

This is the sketch I used on this project:
