Anniversary rings

You know, I just don’t know that I can do this stamp justice.  I have tried using it several different ways now, and I have really only been truly happy with it once.  It just always looks better in my head than it does on paper.  Well, I guess I just stick to that one way from now on.  I like how it works on the card, I just still think I am not making this stamp look nearly as good as it should, does that make sense?  I used Love Everlasting from Verve Stamps for the main design and sentiment on this card, and Everlasting Heart Die Set for the small hearts.  I used my mini Misti to stamp my design first with my oxide ink but having wiped off a few spots with a baby wipe, and then I came back and I used my markers on those spots (colors are listed below in the tools section).  Once I had everything stamped I affixed everything to the front of my card.  I am submitting this card to Tuesday Morning Sketches #421.

This is the sketch I used on this project:

What a wonderful and pretty anniversary card! I really like those end circles and the soft design within them. They frame the heart beautifully! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge, and we hope to see you back again next week 🙂
