New Years Cheers

First of all, I wanted to go in a completely different direction with this color challenge.  I hope to receive my order in time (oh yeah, you know what that means!) to come back and do a more traditional card as well in Halloween colors, but this time I wanted to try something different.  Second, it is really hard to make New Year’s cards, this took pieces from three stamp sets.  I used Years of cheers from Newtons Nook for the main design on this card but also added in elements from  Simply Sentimental and Curious Christmas also from Newtons Nook.  I stamped my designs and then watercolored my drinks in, I always color them orange since I am partial to bellinis in the first place and I haven’t figured out a better champagne color anyway 🙂 and added some sparkle to my bubbles with a bit of glossy accents and glitter.  I am submitting this card to Inky Paws Challenge #56
