Halloween assortment

Sometimes I look at a sketch and keep getting hung up on an idea and it takes me a bit to reorientate my mind to think about it a bit differently.  I kept just seeing the flowers on this sketch and knowing that wasn’t what I wanted to do, and then my mind would head towards snowflakes but I don’t have the right things to do that.  Finally, I remember these stamps!  I used Sweet Treats Halloween from Sugar Pea Designs for the main design on this card.  I started with my background piece and stamped it randomly with the different Halloween sentiments.  I then attached it to my card and trimmed it and placed my frame piece over the top of it and trimmed it as well.  I then stamped my circles with my images and attached them to my card front.  I am submitting this card to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Sketch #231

This is the sketch I used on this project:

Love how you used the bright color from your striped background for the Halloween words, and then stamped many of the icons of Halloween in black on the circles…thanks for joining us this week at AHSC.
