Holiday stockings

This card was started on Thanksgiving day, but I didn’t get very far and that is a good thing.  The next day my nephew and I hit the craft store and since the line was long we were wasting a bit of time so that it could die down a bit and we were looking at the embossing powders.  They had this awesome Christmas red but no green we liked, so I still need a green.  I am glad however it took me until I had the powder to finish the card!

I used Jolly Jingles from Verve stamps as the main design on this card.  I started by stamping my designs and then watercolored my two stockings using the colors listed in the tools section below.  I then stamped my sentiment and then heat embossed it.  I attached my squares and then added my enamel dots.
