Mother’s Day wish

Is it wrong that I am a bit jealous of the dress of the girl on this card?  It can be kind of fun to live vicariously through the subjects that I am working on for a bit.  For a moment I get to be a princess trying to figure out the colors of my perfect dress.  I think it is where reading and crafting have a bit of a blending point for me as well.

I used Mothers Day Wish from A Day for Daisies for the main design on this card.  I started by printing and cutting out the main circle and the sentiment banner, and cutting out the background pieces.  I then watercolored the main design using the colors listed in the tools section below.  I affixed the different sections to the front of the card and the banners to the main circle, which I then affixed to the front of the card as well.  I added the sentiment banner and attached the small crystals to the top section.

That’s adorable! I love how you used the sketch and the fairy is throwing out glitter, maybe?, towards the flags. How fun! Thank you for joining Sunday Stamps this week.
