Second guessing myself, something I do a lot.  I had the idea for this card in my head, and I had to get it out.  I think it turned out kind of cool, but I have been second guessing myself about it quite a bit.  The thing is that I have a weird feeling that I have seen something similar to the background roses somewhere else. One way or the other it was a fun card to make!

I used Floral Bliss and Beautiful Day both from Simon Says Stamps for the main designs on this card.  I started by making the watercolor background piece.  I stamped the roses with the beige ink so that I could see their general outlines, and then I lightly watercolored them then went back and used the markers to color them in more detail, I then misted them lightly to blend the colors and blotted them with a towel.  I then added in the sky and the grass.  I restamped the roses with watermark ink and then sprinkled them with embossing powder and then heated them.  I cut the printed and cut the white square and stamped the butterflies on it.  I then finished by affixing everything to the front of the card.
