Weather this week is all over the place.  Today and tomorrow it is supposed to get rather warm and then it is supposed to be cold again.  It’s nice and sunny looking out my window which is nice.  I just wish that it would make up its mind and that it would choose a nice 75 degrees with a light breeze and not to much sun…

I used Choose Joy and Kind Flowers both from Simon Says Stamps for the main design on this card.  I started by cutting out the main panel and the background circle that fits inside of it.  I then watercolored the panel with a wash of blue and then stamped it with the small flowers.  I then cut out the ‘mom’ and glued it to the background circle and stamped the kind sentiment when it was dry.  I then affixed the background circle to the main panel and finally affixed everything to the front of the card.

Love that you used a die for part of the sentiment. Great idea to mix it up. Thank you for joining us for this week’s CC&S challenge.

This is a great CAS card for Mother’s Day! I personally go overboard with it so thank you for the reminder that simple is good, too. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
