I used to really like this story when I was young. I think one of the fabulous things that the Library challenge allows me to do is to allow the story to live outside of the book. As a reader, I am always thinking about whatever book I am currently lost in and what is just beyond the page. This challenge allows me to take that and add a dash of creativity.
I started by printing and cutting out the mouse and the sentiment strip. I also cut out the oval around the mouse and the frame. I then colored in the mouse and used a water brush to blend. I affixed the oval frame to the mouse. I then affixed the frame to the background and placed the mouse in position, and the sentiment strip in its spot. I then attached everything to the card base. Finally, I affixed the flowers,
