I love playing around with alcohol inks, I also love playing around with stencils.  So, I challenged myself to figure out how to do the two together.  I had a lot of fun, and I think it worked out well.  I tried to use the alcohol ink lift pad that I have and it didn’t work at all.  I have just not had any luck with using it.

I started by using alcohol inks on a piece of yupo, I have no idea what steps I took exactly to get this color on the background, but I know I had fun with the inks.  I then taped the stencil down to the yupo with a bit of washi tape  I used alcohol blending solution on a mini blender to go over the stencil.  I then stamped and cut out the fairy, wand and sentiment strip and cut out the yellow circle.  I watercolored the fairy and her wand. and attached them to the yellow circle.  I then attached everything to the card base. I finished by affixing the sequins with a bit of glossy accents.
