Easter laughter

Easter laughter

This is a really special card.  The artwork on this card is from a line of children’s books that my amazingly wonderful mother in law wrote.  I have a file of her artwork that I have been wanting to be able to use on cards for a bit but didn’t feel that I could do it properly until now.  My equally amazingly wonderful husband knew that I had been holding off until I had a color laser printer to make sure that the artwork could be printed for the cards correctly, and he just got me the one on my wishlist!

I started by cutting out all of the different paper pieces for this card.  I then attached everything to the card base.

I think I have figured out wedding cards!  You may notice that my envelopes are not lined now…I made a decision to go with peel and stick instead of lining them.  I may go back to lining the envelopes, but for now, this is what works.

I have been getting distracted really easily lately.  So, honestly, I made this card on this past Thursday and am just now getting it posted.  At least hopefully before something sparkly catches my attention somewhere else…

I started by cutting out all of the different paper pieces for this card.  I then attached the strips of paper to the piece of cardstock. Then I added glitter to the butterfly and attached it to the sentiment square and attached it to the card.  I then attached everything to the card base.  Finally, I added the flowers.

When I saw this bicycle stamp I was so excited!  I just couldn’t wait to use it any longer.  I am always looking for fun bicycles to add to cards.

I started by cutting out the circle and stamping it with the bicycle and the sentiment. I then cut the background triangle and attached it. I then attached everything to the card base.

If it isn’t one thing than it is twenty others.  I have been fightining with wordpress and finallty figured out what the problem was this morning.  The problem was that it wasn’t something with wordpress…the problem was that LastPass was trying to be a bit too helpful.  Well, now that I have fixed that we will see what fun thing will go wrong next..

I started by stamping the kitty and coffee beans on watercolor paper and then I colored them in.  I then cut them out.  I cut out the banner and stamped the sentiment on it. I cut out the frame and background,  and then affixed everything in its place and added the sequins. I then attached everything to the card base.
