Anniversary bouquet

Anniversary bouquet

I need to organize my supplies!  I know that I complain about that all of the time, and I do spend a lot of time doing just that.  Then I use something and have no idea what it is and realize that I have failed once again :☹️.

I started by stamping the flowers and then cut them out and affixed the gems to the centers.  While that was drying I stamped the backgrounds on to the cardstock.  I also cut the banners and stamped the sentiments on.  When everything was dry, I attached the flowers to the front of the card and then attached the banners.

Kitty loves books

Kitty loves books

Every book lover knows this guy (or gal).  He is at that quaint bookstore or library that you love.  She is your friend’s cat.  You know that they are secretly judging you because thanks to osmosis they have far out read you, and have been at every author reading.  They may or may not accept your pats, but they will keep the area rodent free and for that, you should be thankful.

I started by stamping the kitty and books rectangle and then watercolored it.  I then cut out the other various paper pieces.  I then affixed everything to the front of the card.

Birthday bits

Birthday bits

I was just recently looking at a card that was kind of similar to this card and thinking of how much I liked it.  It is always fun to revisit a design in a slightly different way.

I started by stamping the different bits on the front of the card and then colored them in.

Rainbow flowers

Rainbow flowers

This card had a mind of its own.  I had about three other things I was going to do but none of them worked out.  The thing is when I was done and really looked at it I think it is a very happy card.

I started by making the background, I took each ink and swiped it over the paper.  I then stamped the flowers and cut them out and adhered them to each square.  I cut out the banner and stamped the sentiment on.    I then attached everything to the card base.

Life is beautiful

Life is beautiful

This card came together so easily.  I think that is one of those signs that it is meant to be.  I had made the background a bit ago and I think that is a big part of the card being so pretty.

I started by making the background.  I used alcohol inks and blending solution on a sheet of yupo and when I got the perfect blend I placed another shet on top, this is the top sheet.  I cut the background pieces to size.  I took a bit of ribbon and tied it into a bow and affixed it to the tag and then affixed a bit with the tag to the background.    I then attached everything to the card base.
