When I saw that part of the Christmas challenge this month was hat I knew this Santa was the guy for the job. Many times I fall asleep thinking of card designs and wondering if certain things can work or not. This card is one of those wondering if something could work or not, and it did work! I used a stencil to emboss my background. Using the embossing mat with my Cuttlebug I was able to use a stencil to emboss instead of an embossing folder, this is so cool! My stencil love just grew.
In order to keep track of the challenges that I am working on and what the topic is I have a worksheet I made myself where I write everything down that hangs on a clipboard next to my desk. Well, I guess I wrote things down a bit wrong this time, I wrote gift instead of give. They are similar concepts but can have a bit of a different interpretation in the grand scheme of things. I give gifts out of love so it still works, right?
This year I have a goal of making enough Christmas cards throughout the year to be able to participate in a holiday craft fair. If not, at least make enough to send to everyone on my list without having to stress in December. Fingers crossed!
