Float on

Float on

This fox has the right idea! I think floating in the water with a drink in hand would be lovely. I made a really yummy sparkling lemonade last week that would go perfectly. My husband has been taking advantage of store sales and we ended up with a case of lemon-lime seltzer that I am trying to use up. My first thought was to use it in Jello but I am kind of hopeless at making Jello. So, instead of homemade lemonade has been the answer, except the store was out of lemons this week.

Little Mermaid

Little Mermaid

You would think with my love of swimming that I would have a love of mermaids. Not so much. I am not anti-mermaid I am just not a huge fan either. I think it is interesting at the pool that a lot of girls have been wearing mermaid tails, they seem really hard to swim in. I think one of my issues is that I don’t like to have my legs confined. I want to have a full range of motion, especially in the pool.

Huge birthday wishes

There was something that I saw the other day that said ‘You know you have Multiple Sclerosis…when you are already tired tomorrow.’ That is absolutely true for me. In fact, with the heat, I think I am already tired for the next week already as well. I am so glad that nap time is soon…

Thinking of you amidst the stars

Thinking of you amidst the stars

Although I love playing with new products I seem to need to remember to watch some videos first. I keep ruining things accidentally by not doing that. I didn’t know that the distress spray was supposed to be washed off the stencil right away, and not to spray it on my crafting matt. Oh well, live and learn, I need a new matt anyway since I used spray glue on it a while ago…

Water you up to?

Water you up to?

We have only gotten to go swimming once this summer so far, but there is differently more to come. Swimming is one of my favorite things to do. The hardest part now is to remember to get out of the pool when I still have enough energy to make it back to the car. Especially since I don’t ever want to get out.
