If you look at the tools I used on this card you might be a bit confused. One of the things listed is little pom poms. See, I saw a polka dotted background that I was trying to emulate and I was having problems making it work. The blending tools make to big of dots and I don’t have a stencil (I could have made one I guess) so I was looking around for something that I could use to make the right size dots. Then I saw the stash of pom poms from Easter.
Strangely it is raining outside today. Ok, not so strange, I do live in Oregon. I need to get back to making bright sunny spring cards though. Not that I think the cards I make control the weather…
This is my last Christmas card of the season, I believe. Hopefully this next year I will be better at making them all year and not wait and do them all at the last minute. I did better this last year and it was nice, but honestly, Thanksgiving hits and I get in the mood and I really enjoy making lots of Christmas cards (and I need to I lost count somewhere around sending out 80+)
School supplies! I have a love of school supplies and shopping for school supplies that age just doesn’t seem to affect. Office supplies are ok, but nothing quite compares to school supplies. read more

Out and about one day I picked up this small pad of paper and it seemed so sunny and bright it inspired this card. I think it is the very reason that I keep buying so much paper, I see something and I know it would go perfectly with this stamp or that image. read more
