The funky shape on the front of this card makes me smile, when I saw it on the sketch I thought I would never be able to find anything close but I think I did alright. This is one of the reasons I adore sketches so much, it makes me go look for fun shapes to use like this. read more
One of the challenges I am submitting this card to the topic was Make it digital, so everything on this card came from me working with my Cricut Explore. It was fun to make a card that I limited myself on what I could use, no paper except the backing cardstock, no stamps, no die cuts, no embellishments that were not digitally produced. read more
When I saw that the theme for one of the challenges that I am submitting this card to was love I realized that it was a good time to utilize some of the paper that I bought for making an anniversary card for an upcoming anniversary. I always start when I see the theme of a challenge by going and doing a search for it in the shop (if there is one). Sometimes it gives me a starting point, sometimes I have a completely different idea of what to do. For this card, I wanted to make a fun birthday card. I used the cake from the Birthday Celebration set from The Paper Shelter. I used some Toni Glitter Drops, in order to add a little sparkle and because I promised myself I would.
It is spring break this week around here. It is making things a bit off the normal routine which means I feel a bit extra scattered right now. It just means that some things are getting done and some things aren’t, which is ok because it also means that the things that are getting done are just a little bit more important.
