Whenever I look at the image on this card I can’t help but think that she is trying to smell all of the baby goodness that she can. I mean I know I have been guilty of doing that on at least one occasion. Those sweet little heads can just smell so good!
Isn’t she just the cutest little witch? I love that I have such a range of different witches in my Halloween stamps to play with. I think that is kind of important because I don’t think that witches are a one size fits all kind of thing. Books, tv, movies all have different versions, I am sure that real life does as well…
In order to keep track of the challenges that I am working on and what the topic is I have a worksheet I made myself where I write everything down that hangs on a clipboard next to my desk. Well, I guess I wrote things down a bit wrong this time, I wrote gift instead of give. They are similar concepts but can have a bit of a different interpretation in the grand scheme of things. I give gifts out of love so it still works, right?
When a friend of mine asked me if I could make her birthday invites I was excited at getting to do just that. She loves stripes so I thought this sketch would be a perfect base, and I wanted a fun fairy with striped socks to make it the perfect card for her (and this one with the cupcake makes it perfect for a birthday invite). The main image is the first one I made, but it needed some tweaks and she wanted 12 cards so the second image is of all of the cards together. Each Fairy has her own coloring and personality, and I love that!
Two penguin cards in one day. I guess I am kind of cold. Honestly, one was made the day before and was just posted today so it is a bit more of a coincidence that they are both penguin cards. I also started freaking out about getting everything done for Christmas today. What gets done gets done, just like Halloween.
Halloween is getting so close! I can’t believe it is only a week away. I still have so much to do. Well, what gets done gets done. read more
