For some reason this just had to be a calico when I was looking at it. I think it has to do with the look on her face, she is just so happy with what she has accomplished. Even if it isn’t quite what she is supposed to have done. I love that sense of pride and just pure happiness.
The name for this card is supposed to be a play on a partridge in a pear tree. It was either that or something about the meowiest of ornaments. Sometimes I have problems naming things. I had a lot of pets with either bad names or no names, in fact, my first doll was called naked baby.
The other day I connected with a lovely new digi stamp designer on Instagram and this is one of her designs. I just love how unique this stamp is. Just perfect for a sorry card! This is totally the kind of cat that I would fall in love with. She has a lot of great stamps in her store, so go check it out!
One of my all-time favorite movies! I have not read the book though. I know, that seems crazy for me, but there is a reason! Spoilers ahead so be careful in continuing to read. My favorite character is shown on this card, and in the movie, he has a fairly happy ending but not in the book. I was warned about this and I am actually just Ok with keeping it as a movie I love. I mean Audrey Hepburn …swoon!
This last week I shifted focus from card making to website stuff. Most of it isn’t things that you can ‘see’ although my husband has been at work on that stuff as well. This card I made before I took my small break(?) and forgot I hadn’t posted it yet. Today I have been trying to get back into the groove of posting and have fought with every program in some way so far.
