While making these I was trying to figure out what to put on the tag with the puppy and I couldn’t think of anything. Then I remembered last year while I was trying to wrap presents my ‘helper’ puppy was busy checking in each bag and almost unwrapped one of his kids presents before I caught him, and all of a sudden the perfect thing came to me. No peeking for the recipient or the pup!
This is my last Christmas card of the season, I believe. Hopefully this next year I will be better at making them all year and not wait and do them all at the last minute. I did better this last year and it was nice, but honestly, Thanksgiving hits and I get in the mood and I really enjoy making lots of Christmas cards (and I need to I lost count somewhere around sending out 80+)
I could use a hot drink right now. It is really cold here right now! Not getting snow cold, so I shouldn’t complain. Yeah, I am still going to complain. I have hit a point in life where I do not like it to be very cold.
It’s so much fun to go through my paper stash and find a piece that jumps out as being perfect for a card. I feel that is what happened with this card. The background paper having all of the reindeer names on it seemed to fun not to use on my reindeer card!
Every year I try and make a card that is a blue Christmas card that may be a bit more of a personal card. This is the one this year that is that card. It might seem simple, but I see so many little things that feel that they make my heart happy in this simple card that it is my happy card this year.
