Lately I have felt like the world is giving me little gifts of happiness in a weird way. See, I love mythology. I still have the opening of the Odyssey memorized. I had a teacher actually realize that she couldn’t test me on mythology and since the test, she gave needed updating had me write a new one for the class instead. I am strongest on Greek and Roman but I know quite a bit about Norse and have dabbled in any others that I could as well. Anyway, a challenge that has mythology as its base is just awesome, and that was only one part of the option! Oh and I discovered a reading challenge that has me excited as well!
This is such a fun bright card! I kept thinking it would be great for a kid. I mean it would be great for just about anyone, but I just couldn’t stop thinking that a kid would probably really appreciate it. It would probably be a good card to add a gift card to…
Love the fact that I was able to make a baby card that used paper with foxes on it with this fox stamp. I was planning on an owl card at first, and then I was looking at my baby paper stash and this was just to perfect!
This weekend got away from me! I have been trying to post this card but getting Valentine’s cards ready took precedent. I helped my nephew make a card for his teacher and while he addressed his class cards I addressed my cards to mail. I honestly thought I had another week, good thing he keeps me on track!
So, on the last card, I did blue flowers in a pink cup and on this card I switched it and did pink flowers in a blue watering can. Which were the colors I picked for this project before realizing that they were the inverse of the last card, but it almost feels like it was a planned…it really wasn’t!
