Building a card around an element can work out really well sometimes. I knew I wanted to use the cherub digistamp, I just needed to figure out what would work with it. It doesn’t always work out, but I think this time it did. I have said that I am not great at sympathy cards, but I think this might be the way to do it. I didn’t start out making a sympathy card, it just fit.
For some reason this just had to be a calico when I was looking at it. I think it has to do with the look on her face, she is just so happy with what she has accomplished. Even if it isn’t quite what she is supposed to have done. I love that sense of pride and just pure happiness.
Bright and colorful and full of happiness and joy! This little girl just seems to be having the best day. I love that. Summer as a kid is so very different than summer as an adult. Something that this last weekend was very apparent to me. Two of the kids were spending time over here and it was nice watching them enjoy the joys of summer.
There was something that I saw the other day that said ‘You know you have Multiple Sclerosis…when you are already tired tomorrow.’ That is absolutely true for me. In fact, with the heat, I think I am already tired for the next week already as well. I am so glad that nap time is soon…
Right now thinking about snow is rather pleasant. It is stupid hot here right now. I kind of look like the poor reindeer on this card. Then again I kind of look like him right before Christmas also. I really like the reindeer on this card!
