Have I told you that I bought a new set of colored pencils? I thought I really needed to expand the color selection that was open to me and so I made the plunge. I am now using Prismacolor watercolor colored pencils and I am liking them quite a bit. I am not exactly sure how to share what colors I am using on each project, but I am sure that with my husbands help we will come up with a good solution.
There was something that I saw the other day that said ‘You know you have Multiple Sclerosis…when you are already tired tomorrow.’ That is absolutely true for me. In fact, with the heat, I think I am already tired for the next week already as well. I am so glad that nap time is soon…
This card looks a bit like delftware or flow blue to me and I love both of those! Well, my favorite color is blue particularly dark blue so it isn’t much of a stretch. Oh and I love florals! I have been talking to my husband about my need for white space in design and I think this might be a bit of where that comes from actually.
While working on this card I actually texted out the main design twice. That makes me think that what made me fall in love with this stamp set is because it really is so useful. Things go wrong and there isn’t a lot we can do about them sometimes. Donuts help though.
When the paper you have caused you to change bits of the sketch, what’s a girl to do? Honestly, I know most of the challenges I submit to value creativity over accurately portrayal of the sketch so it is all good. I just realized with this card that I could only make things work out if I put my sentiment on the lower part then on the top, and then that opened up using a larger sentiment.
