The other day I connected with a lovely new digi stamp designer on Instagram and this is one of her designs. I just love how unique this stamp is. Just perfect for a sorry card! This is totally the kind of cat that I would fall in love with. She has a lot of great stamps in her store, so go check it out!
One of my all-time favorite movies! I have not read the book though. I know, that seems crazy for me, but there is a reason! Spoilers ahead so be careful in continuing to read. My favorite character is shown on this card, and in the movie, he has a fairly happy ending but not in the book. I was warned about this and I am actually just Ok with keeping it as a movie I love. I mean Audrey Hepburn …swoon!
So last weekend when my nephew and I visited the craft store I noticed that Crayola was on sale. He has been wanting some decent colored pencils and I have wanted watercolor colored pencils for a while now. When I did my online research Crayola was actually rated fairly highly, so we got some. I am loving them! I just want more colors now, and so I am looking at what my next step is…
Something about the look on the kitty’s face, I think, kept making me think of Professor McGonagall. Of course, the hat doesn’t hurt with that.
This card took a little bit of trial and error to get right but I think it was so worth it! Sometimes I have an idea that something can work I just am not exactly sure how to go about making it happen, and this was one of those times. I am glad that I didn’t get frustrated the first time it failed but realized what went wrong and how to fix it.
