I was trying to figure out a color for my roses and I remembered that one of the reasons I love the distress inks is that they have so many options, I love that there is a color that technically falls between pink and purple on the color spectrum. I think this card turned out to be really pretty. I don’t think the punches that I did show up very well, but that is ok. The design on this card is Warbler and Magnolias. When I was water coloring the magnolias I used some victorian velvet to start with a strong base color and then I mix in a bit of picket fences and then finish coloring out the petals. It gives it a nice orchre effect.

I really love how this card turned out, I think it is very pretty. The design on this card is Bugaboo Digi Stamps Tulip Jar. I used lots of inks on this card. I used Tim Holtz Distress Mowed Lawn, Victorian Velvet, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Squeezed Lemonade. I also used a bit of Delicata Celestial Copper.
