This is my last Christmas card of the season, I believe. Hopefully this next year I will be better at making them all year and not wait and do them all at the last minute. I did better this last year and it was nice, but honestly, Thanksgiving hits and I get in the mood and I really enjoy making lots of Christmas cards (and I need to I lost count somewhere around sending out 80+)
This little sprite reminds me of everything that I loved about Christmas time over at my Mother in laws house when she was still with us. From decorating the tree and then enjoying a cup of cocoa, to the kids putting on shows on Christmas eve. Even in adding the metal piece behind reminds me of the tree topper that was purchased by my parent-in-laws for their first Christmas at a local five and dime and amazingly still rotates today.
Polka dots make me giddy! You would think that would make this an easy challenge since part of it was to use them. Nope! For the last several days my mind has been blank of all of the different polka dot paper, paint techniques, stamp usages, etc. read more

It is so hot here that I thought I would try a bit of a psychological trick on myself today and make a fall card to see if it would help me feel cooler. It didn’t work. I guess I should have tried winter and snow. read more
