This card took a little bit of trial and error to get right but I think it was so worth it! Sometimes I have an idea that something can work I just am not exactly sure how to go about making it happen, and this was one of those times. I am glad that I didn’t get frustrated the first time it failed but realized what went wrong and how to fix it.
So many Christmas cards being made right now! I love it! I actually fall asleep and wake up with thoughts of what pieces are going to go together to make the next one. I think the hardest part for me is keeping up with the making all my ideas and getting them all posted, and actually, you know living (this is when I get mad at myself that going to the bathroom takes to long).
I am really loving figuring out how to make square cards work. I think they work best at this slightly larger size since the envelopes are this size, even if it does throw my standard system off a bit. It just means that they will be a bit more special when I make them. read more
My nephew is really into fidget spinners right now and every time we go to one of my favorite craft stores I have been talked into getting him a new one. He has been gone this week and I am missing him horribly, so I made this card for him. read more
When I got done watercoloring the frosting on the cupcakes I realized that there was a little bit of glitter, yet I hadn’t added any glitter. Then I realized that the last thing I painted was a unicorn horn with copper glitter paint and apparently I didn’t get all of the glitter washed out. I love how it looks but that is why glitter frustrates me sometimes. read more
